If you're not a 'tween/teenage girl or don't live in proximity to one, you may not yet be in on the phenomenon created by 20-year-old Kevin, 18-year-old Joe and 15-year-old Nick. They opened for Miley Cyrus on her fall Hannah Montana tour to the delight of shrieking girls everywhere. Their song, S.O.S., catapulted to No. 1 on iTunes. Their second album has sold more than 900,000 copies. And that's just the beginning. Earlier this month, the band became the youngest act to sign a deal with concert presenter Live Nation.
Police Warn of Rapes After Online Sex Postings
After a rash of rapes in the Temple Hills and Suitland areas, police are warning women to be careful on online singles sites and online communities.
At least six rapes have been reported in the last few months in those areas, some after women posted ads on Craigslist looking for sex. In the most recent sexual assault on February 19th, police say they responded to the 9100 block of Baltimore Avenue for reports of a rape in Suitland.
The victim said she met the suspect on a chat line and agreed to meet with him. When the victim met the suspect, he showed a handgun and raped her in the building stairwell.
Major Dan Dusseau, Commander of the Criminal Investigations Division, said, "We want to alert women who are soliciting for sex online to use caution.
Rentlo to set up in South Australia
RR Australia will establish a Rentlo presence in Adelaide on the back of strong predictions for the current financial year. The company trades as Radio Rentals in the eastern States - and is a separate company to major South Australian electrical goods retailer Radio Rentals. RR Australia said it is on track to meet its forecast of a 50 per cent rise in net profit, following strong trading in the December quarter. "The company is well positioned to produce a solid full year result, which is consistent with analyst expectations, being around $10 million after tax, some 50 per cent above the 2006/07 year,'' RR Australia said. This profit provides scope for strategic development during the 2008-09 financial year, including plans to establish a South Australian store at Elizabeth which will trade under the "Rentlo'' brand.
MI6 'didn't monitor Diana or Dodi, but had file on Md Fayed'
Neither Princess Diana nor her Egyptian boyfriend Dodi Al-Fayed were under the surveillance of the British secret service, but MI6 had a file on Mohammed Al-Fayed, it has been claimed.
An officer with the agency, identified as Miss X, told the inquest into the death of the Princess of Wales that she had conducted a search of MI6 databases but found no files on the couple or any evidence of a plot to kill them.
Mohamed Al-Fayed had earlier alleged at the inquest that MI6 assassinated the couple on the orders of Prince Philip as Diana was pregnant with Dodi's child and the couple were about to get married.
But Miss X, who had assisted British police in their investigation into the deaths of Diana and Dodi in a car crash in Paris ten years back, said there was "no plan whatsoever".

Vendaria Media Inc. has named Rick Fawcett vice president of sales. Vendaria Media is a vendor of visual merchandising technology for Internet retailers. Fawcett has sales experience in web technology dating to the early 1990s. He most recently served as vice president of sales at Colloquis Inc., a maker of online natural language processing systems acquired by Microsoft Corp. in October 2006. Before Colloquis, Fawcett served as vice president of North American sales at WebCollage Inc., a content management vendor. He also was a sales director at The Fantastic Corp. and served in a number of roles at Nortel Networks. "Rick combines the industry knowledge and sales leadership that Vendaria needs at this time of rapid growth," says Scott Roth, president and CEO of Vendaria.
